I understand the need to cut the budget and to save money, but perhaps instead of starting at the bottom, we should start at the top, say with Congress. Perhaps Congress could do with some out-sourcing competition. Perhaps we could cut the Congressional amenities by a minimum of 50% - no more "$5" hair cuts, free this, and free that. If you watch the pennies and dimes, the dollars will take care of themselves - or so I've been taught. Most of the government employees, with whom I'm acquainted, are not living high on the hog. Thank you for allowing me comment.
