I found this article interesting, as I recently requested a 40 HOUR PER WEEK VOLUNTEER position in the Shenandoah National Park with the understanding that I would receive on-the-job-training and mentoring that would qualify me for a future contract job with the Park.
I was informed that they had nothing available at this time.
