This story should not be too shocking to federal employees. After all, the Bush administration has made it clear that it does not value federal employees. This is just another example of how federal employees are considered to be a disposible resource by this administration. It will take another horrible tragedy outside of Washington, D.C. to motivate this administation to reconsider protective gear for all federal employees in the event of a chemical or biological terriorist attack. Besides, it's not like the government is supposed to be a model employer and lead the way for the private sector. Then again, maybe they are. Maybe the real message here is don't take the threats of chemical or biological attacks seriously!
