I've served five different agencies over 15 years and have found my heart's desire working for our National Parks. It's really insulting to know that politics play such a thoughtless role in a really sacred calling such as the one I feel called to.

Angela Styles lives on a different planet than the rest of us federal workers if she truly believes that the threat of having one's job outsourced is a positive factor in the recruitment of quality personnel. That is one of the most ludicrous statements I have ever read - she could not be more wrong if she tried.
The spectre of a looming A-76 is one of the most debilitating ways to enervate the morale of the Federal workforce. For myself, I can't blame a promising young college graduate for not even dedicating any thought to being a part of the government. When you know that the job you are applying for has a good chance of being terminated or outsourced to someone else in the next 5 years, it is a predicament that at the very least gives pause to your decision making.
