I am in this very situation. In the course of time I was issued two suspensions and two notices of removal in less than 6 mths. I have not worked for 2 years each subsequent discipline was issued before adjudication through the grievance process. The Postal Service is dragging their feet in hearing these. But a significant point of this needs to be addressed. I too was also a "model" employee prior to becoming the UNION STEWARD. not knowing the facts I bet you can tie these disciplines to grievances persued by the grievant that irritated management or cost them money.
