In the event of an emergency or unforeseen crisis, federal executives believe that agencies are moderately prepared to function with little or no disruption. And although agencies have taken a number of actions to develop a COOP plan, many continue to have operational and technical concerns about continuity of operations. These anxieties include worksite and data accessibility and the interruption of programs and services. Agencies have provided sufficient training to deal with emergencies, but most respondents feel that their agency could better prepare them by providing capabilities like remote access and updates and advisory messages.
