The 2002 SAFETY Act gives companies with anti-terrorism products different degrees of protection from liability, should their devices or services fail during a terrorist attack. The Homeland Security Department has approved more than 70 products for protection. Here's how known approvals - the department often does not publicize SAFETY Act actions immediately - break down by sector.
