Environmental Enlistees

Government Executive July 1, 1998

President Clinton's 1994 executive order mandated these 17 agencies to develop formal strategies for addressing environmental justice. A representative from each was directed to serve on an interagency working group to help coordinate agency activity. Independent agencies were requested but not required to comply.
