Vital Statistics
The Veterans Benefits Administration provides monthly benefits to veterans with injuries or diseases incurred or aggravated while on active duty. Compensation is based on ratings of disability - from 0 percent to 100 percent - derived using military service records, medical exams, and treatment information from health care providers.
