Because competition is high: According to an inforgraphic created for TopCounselingSchools.org by internet-marketing firm NowSourcing, 25 percent of human resource managers receive 50 resumes per job posting. One in 10 of those HR managers receives 100 resumes for each listing. A top notch resume is essential to getting noticed.
