The SpaceX Falcon 9 and Dragon capsule lifted off  successfully from Cape Canaveral Air Force station in Florida on May 22, 2012. After an aborted launch attempt on Friday, the commercial spacecraft is headed to the International Space Station with 1,200 pounds of supplies. Charles Bolden, a NASA administrator, explains, "We're now back on the brink of a new future, a future that embraces the innovation the private sector brings to the table."
