A new book by a former Navy SEAL offering a firsthand account of the raid that killed Osama bin Landen is getting heat from the Defense Department for revealing classified secrets, the Associated Press reported.

A Pentagon spokesman, George Little, told AP that the book reveals “sensitive and classified” information, but would not be more specific.

In addition, a letter obtained by AP from the admiral who heads the Naval Special Warfare Command said that the book was “hawking details about a mission” and could put military personnel and families at risk.

“For an elite force that should be humble and disciplined for life, we are certainly not appearing to be so,” Rear Adm. Sean Pybus wrote in a letter to his troops. “We owe our chain of command much better than this.”
