SBA unveils revamped site for regulatory information
The Small Business Administration on Thursday launched a retooled version of the Business.gov site that now serves as a central resource for small businesses searching for regulatory information.
The site has been modified to provide small businesses access to information on taxes and various federal regulations they must satisfy. At a press conference, Nancy Sternberg, the program manager of the SBA's Business Gateway Initiative, said she hopes the site eventually will include features that allow businesses to personalize it for their own information needs.
Timothy Young, the associate administrator of e-government and information technology at the White House Office of Management and Budget, said the new site is a "perfect example of what the government should be doing" with information technology.
