  • I am surprised that any companies use it at all. They must have all ignored the first page of the registration web site, which states: "There is no expectation of privacy in any media, peripherals or other devices placed in or connected to the computer system." Unless I am very wrong, the only way to protect company information from Big Brother is by using e-Verify on a dedicated laptop from your local Starbuck's.
  • I still cannot understand what the fuss is about. The E-Verify system works. It's fantastic, in fact. It immediately verifies if an employee is legally in the country by verifying if the documents they present are legitimate. Most of the documents that are fraudulent go undetected because employers continue to claim they are not document specialists and do not possess the training to determine what's legitimate. Now, we have a system that does all the work for us and this joke of an administration continues to find reasons to delay its' implementation. How sad and shameful!

Once he gets ACORN fully integrated into critical government functions, he won't even have to pander as they will deliver him whatever voter "response" he desires.
