  • Gordon, you have pop ups blocked. That is why you cannot view the piece. It's not "Bush's fault".
  • While I wouldn’t dare call this administration the most corrupt in history, since it seems there is much to sling in both directions, but there does seem to be an increasing sense of the bill coming due. I must say that IMHO this administration has gone to new heights unseen in previous times. This administration will go down in history as the one which most alienated its employees, strengthened the presidential powers, removed the most American Constitutional rights, and established all-time highs in disinformation. As for “past administration had no war”, once more for the political science or history student; neither has this one. Even as his dear father cried out “READ MY LIPS,” War has not been declared. The American population isn’t in war-time mode. It is neither economizing nor sacrificing “in the name of freedom”. Its only evidence, other than the field of blood sacrificed by those deployed to the beach front, is paying exorbitant prices for the black gold that runs our economy and lives; the oil that is reaping billions for the same industry our POTUS works in during the off season. As for the gas prices, anyone who has studied government must know the impact that government regulations, tariff policies, foreign policies, and foreign relationships have on the price of life in these United States; and I know of few presidents who alienated more of our “allies” than the current POTUS. At the heart of our current conundrum is fear; fear of supply shortages leverage fuel beyond the reach of many, fear of attacks allows the administration to invade our homes and lives without warrants, leading ultimately to our fear of Big Brother. Fear has become the current administration’s stalking horse leading the masses whether it wishes but fear is like a flood; is née impossible to guide and manage and so its effects spill into the rest of our lives.
